As the caffeine of the last event wears off, we ask ourselves — did we make a difference, what’s next, can we sustain this, how do we top our efforts?

I continue to be encouraged by the ideas that are growing right in our own backyard. We’re participating in a renaissance of belief— a belief that Fort Wayne truly has something remarkable to offer— not only to its citizens, but to the world.

Whether you are homegrown or adopted by Fort Wayne, I hope you sense this change. I hope you are compelled to take a more active role as you’ve been connected with this growing tribe of like-minded thinkers.

At the end of the day

I’m grateful for the TED stage, which we get to draft off an idea that is much bigger than our local TEDx. We’ve been given a platform that allows us to put ideas in the spotlight and a beacon that draws others to it.
