Raise the Roof: NeighborLink Fort Wayne

On July 20-21st, NeighborLink Fort Wayne attempted something they'd never tried before: a large-scale roofing event. Roofing is one of the hardest issues facing members of the community with physical or financial hardships, as it is both an incredibly difficult and/or expensive project to take on without professional help.

On this weekend, NeighborLink was able to complete 3 full tear-off and re-roofs for neighbors in need, as well as garner enough volunteers and funds to complete two more this fall. These three videos give a small glimpse into the mission of NeighborLink, the stories of the people involved, and the transformation that can happen through these projects.

A special thanks to the featured groups of 3 Rivers Remodeling, Brookside Church, Level 13 Church, and the numerous other volunteers and donors who helped to make this possible.

NeighborLink Fort Wayne is a grassroots, community development organization that leverages technology in a web platform to help connect neighbors who have resources with those who happen to need a helping hand for one reason or another, in an effort to eliminate a tangible need and create meaningful connections.
