Fort Wayne Regional Maker Faire | See - Make - Share - Repeat

This year's Fort Wayne Regional Maker Faire was once again a huge success! From the bikers, to the welders, to the robots, it was a blast all around and we here at DasFort are eagerly awaiting what is to come for next year!

For those of you that don't know much about the Maker Faire, it celebrates things people create themselves — from James Bond-worthy electronic gizmos to Martha Stewart-quality “slow made” foods and homemade clothes. Inspiration is ubiquitous at the festival and there are surprises around every corner for people of all ages.

Held every year around October at the Fort Wayne Headwaters Park East in the Lincoln Pavilion, the Maker Faire provides plenty of food, fun, and music that the whole family will enjoy. For those of you that wish to attend next year, you can sign up online or pay at the door. If you choose to volunteer for this great event, you not only get in free, but you get an awesome T-shirt as well! There are plenty of parking options for those of you that choose to drive, or if you wish to ride your bike, the Fort Wayne Trails offers free, safe, and secure bicycle parking in their Bike Corral just north of the Pavilion.

For those of you that are Makers, sign-up on their website here under the Call for Makers section to register your robot, project, or other invention. We can guarantee that it will be a blast!

We can't wait to see you all next year as we See - Make - Share - Repeat!
