It is originally known as the Barr Street Market but since the Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana (YLNI) revived it nearly 15 years ago, the name was changed. Its popularity grew even more and the number of vendors has increased significantly from only 4-6 vendors to more than 150 week in and week out. An average of 10,000 customers drops by the YLNI Farmers Market every week—a reflection of how well-loved this exceptional community gathering is.
Located at the Barr Street Market on Berry and Barr Street, the summer market is open from 9 am to 1 pm from May 6, 2023 through September 30, 2023. Free parking is offered in surrounding parking lots, and on the adjacent streets. Starting November, the robust Winter Market is held at The Olde East End Building on E Berry Street, providing a comfortable indoor shopping during the cold months.
